Informative website

Dear Larry,

First of all, you have a very nice and informative website. Easy to navigate and not overloaded with unrelated information.

Secondly, you have asked for some feedback on your website. By navigating and reading through your website I saw a few minor errors. First one is in the header "Shiping Tools" and the other one is in "About me" under "My dream and goal" in the sentence " there's till a long way to go..." I am not a native English speaker myself and I also make mistakes sometimes. I am trying to help, not to make fun of you.

Thirdly, I would like to enquire about the Vietnamese container business, you seem to know a lot about this industry. I am a consultant from the Netherlands and I support Dutch and Asian SME's in their process of internationalisation. I provide market research, marketing research, business development, trade missions, language support and legal support.

In The Netherlands there is a shortage of sea containers. I would like to know whether Vietnam is a good place to source for new and secondhand sea containers (all kinds) or would China be a better place to source.

I hope you can give me some good advice.

Dear Long,

Many thanks for your kind comments. I corrected some mistyping errors you told me.

As for container manufacturing, Vietnam accounts for just small percentage of world's market share. Hung Dao container and VTC are two main makers in the country. Their capacity is rather small.

Meanwhile, China seems to dominate the container market, and you can easily find huge names like CIMC, Singamas... They, however, tends to serve big customers with large volume.

If you have big orders (e.g. some thousands of TEU or more), China is good choice. Otherwise, you may want to source in Vietnam, which is good for you (as you're also Vietnamese, right?)
