MISC Berhad was incorporated in 1968 and headquartered in Kuala Lumpur as Malaysia International Shipping Corporation Berhad and is the leading international shipping line of Malaysia. Its main shareholder is Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS), the national oil conglomerate of Malaysia. The company is organized into four business segments: - Energy-related shipping, engaged in the provision of liquefied natural gas (LNG) services, petroleum tanker services, operation and maintenance of offshore floating facilities
- Other shipping, which offers chemical tanker services and dry bulk carrier services
