It would have been great to preserve such a silent icon but to what end? Not sure, a Prison hulk perhaps. With all the overcrowded jails in the UK it would have been an amazing space saver. How many cells could you fit in her hull?
Anyway, a sad farewell to mans power over the elements and his conquering of engineering.
